Who is Lymi for?
Lymi is for people who want to build their English from a clear understanding of words. The current iOS beta is designed for Russian-speaking learners, with Russian explanations and English study words.
How is it different from flashcards?
You work through one meaning at a time: an explanation, context, your own examples, and a check of understanding. The aim is to know what a word means and when to use it, beyond recalling its translation.
Do I have to speak with Sofia?
You can read and learn independently. Voice lessons with Sofia are an additional way to practise and require sign-in, microphone access, and an internet connection.
Can I download Lymi now?
Lymi is currently in private testing for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. There is no public download yet. If you already have the beta installed, use “Open Lymi” to return to the app.
